Never been there but my friends used to go years ago.My late buddy killed a nice buck there over 25 years ago with a smokepole.Le us no how it goes,maybe I'll put in for it next year.
The wildlife commision actualy has a small population of red wolves on the island. I guess they are trying to repopulate them.
Been getting all my stuff ready for a few days now. The success rates were up near 40% so I'm hoping I can get a decent buck out of the deal. I saw a video on you tube that showed that they have some breeding red wolves on the island. I saw what I thought was they're tracks or some really big dogs. On the video they said that they capture and raise the pups and relocate them to other areas of the country. Hopefully I'll get some good pics and post them.
