I don't smoke, so I couldn't tell you how much they cost. In this economy, if I can do something for cheap, I will do it.
And my buddy is a chain smoker. I can smell him from 20' away, smells like a rotten ash tray. No wonder he doesn't see anything. I banned him from smoking in my carport at camp in the mornings while I am trying to get ready and get to my truck w/o walking thru that stinking mess of smoke. Told him to go out in the road to do that stuffI use to smoke and kill deer at the same time. I literally waited to finish a smoke befor standing to kill a namy doe.
Back on the weekends when I first started tagging along with my dad he smoked those swisher sweets on our 2.5 hour drive into Ga. The whole truck and all of our clothes smelled like those nasty things and he put 4-5 bucks on the wall during those years up until he quit the habit. I know several guys who smoke in the stand and kill decent bucks consistently.
I don't think I have killed a deer in the past decade that there wasn't a puddle of tobacco juice under the stand and half of those have been archery kills.
