I use baking soda (about 1 cup) to wash my clothes, and use the non scented dryer sheets. -Not the ones in the hunting section, just the Bounce brand in the laundry section
Bud you're looking at too many TV Hunting shows . By the time I get to my stand in this heat , I smell like a Skunkape , no offense to our own forum member . Hunt high especially if the wind is wrong in your setup and hunt with the wind in your favor . The only thing I do is change clothes after the morning hunt , Oh yeah all my clothes get washed with Gain or whatever detergent my wife buys . Spring scent is the one I like , smells good . None taken,it's a proven fact you cannot kill a deer without wearing scent blocker clothes. The more money you spend,the more deer you will kill. I also wear scent block depends. When I gotta go, I just let it go.

C. you keep saying I don't kill anything. down here it's fairly true. the first 7 years here I was too busy with work and jobs around the new house and didn't hunt at all. but I don't take pics and post stories of all the game I do take. I got nothing to prove to anybody. I hate the heat so only realy hunt from october to april, mornings only until 10 am or so when it warms up, and no deer. in the 2 1/2 -3 yrs I've gotten 1 pig, 3-4 yotes, 5 turkey, a bunch of doves,squirrels and some nussiance armadillo per landowners request. from 1975 to 2003 I killed a lot more game. too many grouse,rabbit squirrel,turkey,pheasant, quail,duck goose,and deer to remember. and passed on more deer than I shot. all have been under 100 yds, 95% under 40 yds. the # of kills don't mean jack squat to me. it's easy to rack up some big #'s when you have a place that has dozens of hogs coming in to a feeder am and pm. shooting fish in a barrel doesn't impress me. it's not a competition for me. you have been hunting all of what 5 years now? I guess I just don't have the blood lust some other members do. I won't take more than I can use or take long shots and bad angles, shoot at moving animals or if they are in a hard spot to get them out of. call me lazy,non motivated, whatever but given the few hours I put in and the places I have access to that are not overun with game I'm not complaining so don't let it bother you.
I've killed a bunch of hogs on public land walking 10- 15 miles on my boots with all of my 350 FAT AZZ POUNDS. Ask kemster how far we used to walk. The only excuse i had when i didnt kill anything was MY FAT AZZ didnt try hard enough or WAS TOO LAZY TO WALK BEYOND A BUCKET 2 feet from the road.

But if you called something that was TRUE i would probably get mad... Sooooo? And btw theres no way a person did those huge killing back in the day with no pics. COMMON the first thing anyone does is take a pic right? When you shot that hog ( no comment on how it was taken) you took an idiotic pic of you skinning it in the front of your house from a tree in a busy sub development. Wish i knew a better way to piss people off. So if pics are not important then why put that pic up?

don't put words in my mouth or delete me when it suits you! I never claimed any huge killing sprees and the old timers I learned from rarely took pics and neither did me or my hunting pard. the few that were taken were usualy of hunting friends or if the animal was very exceptional. I guess in the age of facebook/tweeting and all that other BS pics are important. I don't do that stuff.
I use this little bottle of white powder you puff it and it blows away like smoke from a cigarette. Then i know how and were i need to walk and sit. Its payed off with 3 deer and a lost buck.
