Anybody up Live Oak way know where I can pick up some corn? I'm heading up that way Sunday afternoon to set up a couple of stands and throw out some corn. We're heading back there on 11/18 for the Antlerless Deer season. I know I can pick up the Deer Corn at Wally World but I've heard mixed reviews about it. I'd rather find some feed store I think as it will be a better quality according to the reviews. Just wondering. I'll go to Wal-Mart as a last resort.
DO you go up 19 or interstate? If you go 19, Yellow Rose feed store in Inglis is about as cheap as you will find it.
Wallymart is selling 40#/$8.97. That is about the best value in the market right now. In Inglis it's 10 something a bag(50#) so it's about the same. The wallyworld corn seems to be clean. We are running it in our feeders
I'll be heading up the Suncoast to Dunellon first then 19. Thanks for the tip. Yeah someone said they had cleaned up the Deer Corn so I may just wait until I get up there and pick some up if I have to.
