So I am from Ca originally (don't hold that against me please!), out there you can just go to the desert and shoot all you want. I am rather frustrated that here in Fl; it seems to be there is a lack of public land you can just go shoot on? Can you go out to like a WMA and target shoot? My son is 10 and way past the age I wanted to teach him how to shoot at. The thing is I am a single dad and have a 5 year old as well so I can't go to a range as they won't let me bring the 5 year old to the line. Any ideas or suggestions? thanks..

There are a numbers of members who live over that way that have mentioned a couple of shooting ranges you should have access to. Someone should come along shortly and chime in.
what about the WMA's? can you plink with a 22LR out there and not get in trouble?
