Dad in 1992, about a week after he got out of hospital from a major spleen infection and having it removed.(very close to death then). He spent 35 days in hospital and had cabin fever bad. I took him out to Tide Swamp WMA and rode him around for 2 days. I went home on that Sunday and he went to woods that afternoon. He shot this deer off the hood of his truck at over 400 yards (30-06) and drug it out and loaded by himself
He was back in hospital 2 days later getting his gut stitches fixed that he ripped loose
