Hmmm bout to get me some of those.
Just give it a try. Its worth the $1.79 a box of coils will cost you and cheap to replace often. Just make sure to let the unit run for at least 15 minutes before hitting the woods for the pieces to be hot enough to start working. The other thing you can do is cut a pad in 3-4 pieces and use along with the coil pieces. Never tried before, but though about it in case I need to. With the coils, you’ll smell them, but that is also true for the pads.

I soak the pads in Yard Guard (i think that's the name) the chemicals are the same, I soak them then dry them out
