Well our feeders are getting hit by the bears pretty good. At first we were running straight corn like we were advised not to. :nono: Got plenty of deer and turkey until the bears found it. Tore apart 1 of my feeders and hit my buddys feeder twice a day. Decided to move the feeders to some other spots and mixed soybeans in at 50/50 last week. My buddy checked the cams today and got 160 pics of bears living it up on corn and soybeans. Not 1 deer or turkey on the cams once the bears came around. I'd hate to pull the feeders but don't want to ruin the season with bears all over the place. Any ideas how to get rid of them???

I figured the only way was to pull the corn out. My buddys going back next week so I'll have him get rid of my corn till the opener. I decided to plant 4 weeks ago and it has come up great. Had a few does in it and my buddy jumped a 6 point this am checking the camera. Guess I'll be on the plot to start the season.

hey will soon. when it gets out of hand.. in jersey there were so many bears that they would be right in your front yard and this was in places that there wasnt woods for a mile or so.. to what they did.. and this is messed up is.. They had a one weekend bear hunt free for all anywhere.. and they just piled up the hundreds of bears at one location and burnt all the remains. There was so many they had to do that.. i guess thats what had to be done. They were getting dangerous and really making a problem. People couldn't come out of their house. the deer are the same way there also. But theres no "free for all deer hunt" there.. lol
