I'm new to south Florida and to the forum but would appreciate any information you guys might have on a cheap lease or private land I can hunt some hogs on this winter. I am looking to do some still hunting NO DOGS and will be using a Bow not a gun.

South Florida != cheap land to lease. My recommendation would be to hit the WMAs down there. I haven't lived down there for several years, but I would recommend heading north towards Delray Beach and Boynton and then west. There used to be a lot of rural land out that way west of Jog Rd. Not sure anymore with all the development.
Go figure. I used to count the deer out there in the evenings back in 99 and 2000. And if ya went even further west the pig parade was happenin almost every morning. Another good spot was up 441 north of Albertson's plaza there. I can't remember the name of the road, but there was a very rural area there where I'd park on the way home from work and get to see a panther a few times a week crossing the road.
the areas of West Boynton Beach are well developed now. I don't mind driving a few hours if I have to, but I have found only hog outfitters that to a "canned hunt" from a buggy. Loads of novices shooting released pigs with dogs and high powered rifles. :chain
That just sucks! Oh well. Glad I don't live down there anymore.
