now thats what I'd call a change of pace from hunting fla, sunburn to windburn. some of the rosiest cheeks I've seen in a long time.
Yeah. Definitely keep workin on him. Very fun hunt.
Tip: not as fast as quail. Let them get up and out a bit. Unless you want ground pheasant. Lol. I found out the hard way. A couple I just completely dusted. Used to pullin the trigger as soon as I get a bead on them.
I wouldn't say they're not as fast as a quail,wild birds are very fast.

"...first time seeing snow..."? You may like it for a visit, but you'd grow to hate it as much as me after awhile!
But I'm also glad you had such a good time! My son's 'grandfather-in-law' has a couple of thousand acres in MO, and I may get to hunt with him there next year! (Fingers crossed!)
