Do you think deer hunting over bait / or food plots makes it any less of a hunt?
I'll wait and see what some of you guys post then I'll chime in with opinion. :tequila
I don't see much of a difference in food plots vs a feeder, other than you can control the time that the feeder goes off, which gives you a bit more of an advantage. If it's just a corn pile vs a food plot...I see no difference whatsoever.
To me, it depends on what you are wanting to get out of your hunt. Some people want a challenge, some people want to fill the freezer, some people want big antlers, some shoot what is legal and some are happy to just be out in the woods. I wouldn't say hunting over bait/plots isn't hunting, because it's not that much different than scouting for oaks and determining when they are going to drop their acorns....though I will say it feels less sporting to me.
to each there own, i dont judge anyone..... jm2c

Not starting this to judge people, just curious what some of your thought on this are. Do you feel it takes away anything from the total hunting experince?
Ok let me reword it. Do you think it is any less of an accomplishment shooting a nice 10 point over a pile of corn or a eating in a food plot, than shooting it with neither things in play?
