If it's right off 179, then you are in a GREAT spot. Not sure where you are, but it's just a short ride up Hwy 279 from I-10, right on SR 90, and then left on 179. When you get to the Gritney store, turn left. That area is awesome, just be very careful with stands and cams. Hide em well, and lock em up even better. Stuff has a way of disappearing up thattaways. Lost a camper, a ladder stand, and a shooting house/tower all in one year.

Yes, they stole the camper. It was an older one that was given to me, but I had put a lot of work into it to get it back into hunting camp usable condition. They didn't get much, since the tires were shot, the toilet "sort of worked", and I had taken everything of real value out of it and took the propane tanks home the last time I went. What surprised me, is that the trailer was up on blocks, the frame was near rusted thru, and there was no way they could EVER get it tagged and titled. The only real things of value in it were the 12v/LP/120v rv fridge, the gas oven/stove, and the 2 new twin mattresses.
