steroids,growth hormones, antibiotics, who knows what they have been fed , filthy transport unknown conditions in slaughterhouses,chemical preservatives, who knows where the country of origin was & what their sanitation was like to name a few. Hogs are not game animals,they are feral and most places they are shot and thrown in ditches. I personally have some respect for hogs and consider them fun to hunt. FWC makes money off of them therefore they are consiered game animals on some WMA's. I give a few of them away sometimes to some folks I know who love them,I've never shot that many deer where I had enough to donate. I think 5 in one season is the most and I ate all of them.
