if you really want unwanted visitors away.. wear a vest and hat. I just wear a hat so i dont get shot in the head.
another important peice of safety gear I haven't been using much and should, yellow tinted glasses will help you detect motion better and prevent a branch in the eye, that can ruin a day fast. used them all the time for birds and they would probly help with hogs/deer also.and everyone please don't shoot Carlos in the head, the bullet may ricochet off that thick skull and hurt someone.
Unbelievable... Maybe a few dead hunters on a WMA and they will change the requirements for Small Game/Hog... Getting covered by shot is always an issue on the dove fields also... I get hit everytime we go becuase of knuckle heads not watching where they are shooting and shooting outside of there staked out "shoot area"....
we will have to get nacho an entire PINK Blaze outfit!
call OMAR the tent maker and tell him to get busy, and it's gotta be a rush order.I can't blame the squirrel hunters, they have a right to hunt public land also. guess we were both following the same acorn/oak hammocks and can't expect them to see you if you don't wear any orange. I didn't get rained on by any pellets but am sure they spooked the hogs for me. I should be squirrel hunting too as I shouldn't be dragging anything bigger, just can't get the wife to eat them.
