Hunted hungry land this morning. Saw some game yesterday. A little Buck, forkhorn with no browtines. A doe, and a huge Boar Hog. The Buck was to small to be legal, can't shoot does, and I didn't shoot the Hog(250+lbs.), because I was seeing deer. Today I was sitting, the fog was just lifting and the conditions were good. Until some Jackbag on a mountain bike came down the trail. My stand was not far from the parking area(500-600 yrds.) I could here the guy talking on his phone from the time he got of his car. He was talking so loud that my brother in law who was 1,000yrds+ from the truck could here him as well. I thought it was two people. When the idiot came by me he was talking on his bluetooth about business. I know this because I could hear everything this guy said. When he rode by me I had a few choice words for him, which he did not hear because he was talking so loud. My brother in law texted me asking who was making so much noise. I told him what happened and he shouted at the guy also with some colorful words. An hour and a half later the guy was back in the parking area running his loud mouth again. Long story short our morning hunt was ruined. Why does the FWC let people hike and bike these trails during hunting season? Seems dangerous to me that people are hunting with muzzleloaders and there are people bird watching, hiking, biking, etc.... It would only take a few more signs with dates for hunting seasons to make things safer for everyone. We have to draw a quota to hunt WMA's, which as we all know can take years. Most hunters scout weeks prior, put out game cams, Etc.. It sucks to have all that work go down the toilet because of people who should not be in the woods during hunting season. They get all year to hike, bike, walk, etc... We wait years to have a 3-4 day window to get the job done. Why can't they close the trails during hunting season? Seems like a no brainer to me. Also we pay for management stamps. I'll bet the bikers and hikers do not pay anything. Ok I'm done venting now. Maybe the morning will be better............

That's why I have planned weekday hunting trips to WMAs this year. Too much of that crap happened to me last year with weekend warriors

Still another reason I don't hunt public land. I know not everyone has access to private land so I feel for you man. When one of these turds winds up getting shot during hunting season, maybe the FWC will take notice.

Crap like that makes you want to shot up into the air and scare the bageebies out of them... Not like I would ever even think of doing something crazy like that, just saying.
