State bans vehicles to prevent fires at Holey Land Wildlife area
Mon March 14, 9:10PM
Citing low water levels, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission banned motorized vehicles, airboats, motorcycles and camp fires in the Holey Land Wildlife Management Area on Monday, according to a release from the commission.
The new rules, in effect indefinitely, are intended to help prevent fires.
The management area is located in southern Palm Beach County at the county line, just west of U.S. 27.

Ive heard it is extremely dry down there. Unfortunately, the lack of tropical storms the last 3 years has hurt the water levels
We need a good soaking, just no wind
