Why does FWC catalog hogs as small game?
I noticed that hogs are legal game during small game season and on Small Game Hunting Areas hogs are legal to shoot.

Because they are an invasive species and they want to get rid of them.
Same reason private land hogs are able to be hunted all year long by just about any means short of a nuke.

As well as "with a minimum shoulder height of 15 inches" - I bet some folks in the FWC think back and say "what the **** were we thinking?" lol

some WMAs still have those requirements. If they really wanted to get rid of them they would have no minimum size and longer time to hunt them if not all year on WMAs
