Doesn't the Fl. law state you can use any centerfire riffle to hunt deer? Or is there a caliber restriction?

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

regulations just say centerfire cartridges.

That's what I thought but, a coworker tried to tell me there was a caliber restriction.

fwc website just says centerfire, no fmj for deer and only 5 rnd mags.

not sure i would want to hunt deer with a .17 rem but i guess you could.
