During small game season, hunting is allowed only in the Cumpressco unit which is from the 471 entrance to the power lines. As I only hunt from the Rock Ridge side I don't have any areas scouted yet... I'm hunting my regular spot in the morning one more time and then will figure out a couple of spots for small game in Cumpressco...

Anyone hunting GS tomorrow? I know is going to be cold but I'm planning on siting on my stand one more time before the end of GG. Depending on how it goes during the morning hunt, i'll probably squirrel hunt/scout around Cumpressco in the afternoon in preparation for the small game season.

Tearin up them squirrels eh? One day I sat in my stand and counted 6-8 of em where I was in a couple hours. I could hear guys squirrel hunting nearby and I was thinking please dont come over here, cuz im gonna be jumping outta my stand and head for cover if they start unloading on the squirrels lol

I'll be out there at 5 am. Was there today for a short time. took my two girls. 7 and 9. damn their noisy !!! On our way out, there was a 4 pointer, a 200 pound Hog and a Ten pointer pulled up. Nice rack on that one. I could have swore that it came from Georgia !! It was pretty big for a Florida Deer.
