If there were bears like that where I go I would seriously reconsider sneaking in quietly in the dark without a light. maybe even use one of those kajillion candlepower headlamps you got and a pair of cymbals betwwen my knees.

Cut the corn off for a month and hopefully they'll leave. I can't stand it when the bear(s) camp out under a feeder and run everything else off.

I seriously hope yall see the big picture. Opening a bear season because they are camping out under deer feeders, or they are showing up on game cams are the wrong reasons. They are wild animals looking for a meal, just like every other critter out there. If the FWC uses that as a basis to open a season, then they are a bunch of idiots. Bears are a unique and important part of the ecosystem. I'll bet there are not more than 2 areas of the state that can sustain a bear harvest(Ocala and the panhandle)
Just from hunting around them for 6 years, I grew to respect them and understand them. Any aggression they showed was 100% of the time due to food.
I feel privileged I got to see a bunch of them in the wild. Truly one of natures finest works of art

Just my opinion

I thought I was the only one out there who respected bears, maybe my philosophy is spreading.I was blessed seeing a bear once and it was a heart pounding experience I'll never forget. I don't believe there's ever been a black bear fatality in Fl and not many recorded attacks on humans. I wouldn't be to surprised if some laws were passed about feeding game in the future to further protect bears. If sows keep dumping 4 cubs at a time maybe we will get a chance to bear hunt again.I woder how many bears there would be if everybody shot one off of their feeder?
