Sometimes I feel almost guilty when all my buddies were hurt or killed one way or another and i was not...so now all I do is try to help the vets that cannot help themselves. I don't care what war but i do tend to work with the Vietnam vets more than others as they seem to have fewer resources. Thanks for all you do!
We are a resource as a wounded Veteran is a Veteran, I also know of a few groups that value Veterans of all conflicts and/or wars. Feeling guilty at times I understand and have the hard time answering one question, Why not me? I'm mobile and in a brace but I can go and do, friends are not so lucky but we all remain positive.
Would love to be able to donate the deer or Black Bear hunt to someone here .
I too dodge the bullet while in combat so while I am sad I will miss the hunt, I am glad I did not get a purple heart.
