Things change from year to year. 2 years ago I could go out there and see at least 1 or 2 does each sit. I set my buddy up and he shot a spike.
I've gone back to the same spots last year and this year and haven't seen a thing. Keep at it. You'll find them.
I know, I just got to keep at it, just wish my work would understand that I need to hunt more, and work less, however the boss doesn't feel the same way. I told him that the more I hunt the better person I am allowing me to do a better job when I am at work, again he didn't seem to care. LOL
On a happy note, Santa was good to me this year. I got a new Rock Island 1911 short barreled 9mm for a new carry gun, and a Hawken black-powder gun. I need to finish sighting in the hawken otherwise I would take that out hunting. SO im gonna try again this weekend and trying a new spot, hopefully that will change my luck.
