Cracker,

Nice buck. Where is the story ??? A story with the pic makes it all the more exciting than just seeing the pic.

I went to a spot the friday before and sat. It was a good ways back and had a guy drive right under me in his truck. Im glad he did because it forced me to relocate a little deeper in off the trail the next tuesday. I had seen good new rubs, scrapes and tracks so I figured it was just a matter of time. It didn't take too long either. That tuesday I sat and hadn't seen a thing until the wind kicked up around 9:30 and I guess that stirred things up because at 10am a doe appeared to my left at 15 yds and she was cautiously feeding and looking behind her. Thats when I heard something else walking in and he appeared at 60 yds quartering hard towards me behind a big pine. Thats when the wind switched and blew right to the doe causing her to split. I knew he wouldn't hang around so I took a quick shot and hit him back but he dropped and was doing a belly crawl through tall grass so I shot again hitting him in the neck. He was done at that point. I got down and realized he was just a little bigger that I realized. He ended up scoring 105". He's a fine buck and getting him at green swamp makes him one of my favorites.
