So I got to thinking about the first nine days, yeah every year I have atleast gotten one half of it where I hunt and yeah I guess it lowers the number of hunters but to me its a waste of 2 weekends if you dont have the permit or your work schedule interferes and most people cant always hunt the week so it goes almost 3 weeks into the season before you get to go, yeah bucks get taken but really with the warm weather still you dont see much of a game taken until cooler weather and the rut kicks in but still almost 3 weeeeeks of having to wait!!! lol anyone feel the same about the first nine days or have a diff opinion???

My theory is FWC screwing with the rest of us ;). Allows the people with the qouta to make all the rest of the deer skiddish.

in my opinion the animals get skittish as soon as they hear trucks rumbling down the road first day of archery season. if that is so they go nocturnal pretty quick into season, i dont take vacation but make sure to hunt the weekend at the very least. i think the split quota for green swamp is bs. it should be a nine day quota like most of em. it does keep some baffoons out of the woods.
