Finally get to take a trip to the woods.. I know some recommended against it but ended up back in Bear Creek property in Panama City... Hopefully this year will be better than the last few... And we won't get kicked off our property again just cuz the owner wants to lease a cpl more lots. First time on the property this weekend so I hope its worth it. I'll get some pics up of the property and you guys can tell me what you think. A lot of short pines tho is what I'm told. None are even big enough for a tree stand so looks like blinds and tripods this year. Atleast no clear cutting during hunting season.
Oh, and any secret ideas or hints to bring in the deer for first year lease hunting? Or should I just cross my fingers and hope for the best lol
Don't go corning real heavy or you'll have bears all over the place. Seemed to me like the fall oats rape and brassica mixed plots the most up there. Good luck. You'll need it.
The bears show up regardless... The guys in charge said to use snow peas cuz the bears dont eat 'em... Well they still ate 'em and the deer didn't touch 'em.
