Ok, so you guy's wthat use feeder's im hoping you can help me out here.
I have a couple hundred acres in Okeechobee that im allowed to hunt. I want to hang a couple of feeder's for hog's and hopefully deer. How long before they start to respond to my feeder's going off? And what is a good time to set them for? Is it too late considering deer season is right around the corner? Thanks for the info guy's (or gal's).

Deer/hogs will find feed within a matter of days. During hunting season I set mine for am/pm dispersal.

Will they come running to that feeder like clock work the way they do on tv when a feeder goes off?

They definitly find them quick. I set mine for just a few seconds so I'm not spending a lot on corn.I love listening to hogs coming to a feeder. I set min for 8:00 am and around 5:pm.Only thing is at least on mine, once the hogs find them they kinda keep the deer off them. I also use bump feeders for hogs,I us a 55 gal drum mounted on fence poles with a 1/2" hole drilled on each side. They work great for hogs and turkeys and all you have to do is fill them,no batteries, cranks ,or hard work.
