I'd like to get y'alls thoughts on this.
Do you think it's ever too late to start hunting?
When I was younger I used to hunt squirrels with my cousins around Lake Butler. I grew up running around the woods until developers annihilated most of the green in our area. I've been all over Ocala, Withlacoochee SF, Seminole SF, Wekiwa, Rock Springs, you name it.
Ive never hunt deer or or hog before but I have friends that do every year.
At 38 I'm wonderin' if I've lost too much field time by trying to start now. I'd really like to get into at least deer and duck hunting and possibly turkey and hog too.
Its never too late to start!
if reasonably healthy you could have 40 years left, so you better get a move on. I got spanked shooting yesterday by a 75+ y/o one legged guy in a wheelchair.
I am 40 just started hunting a couple years ago. My advice spend alot of time on this site. The people are great and very helpfull. Dont get discouraged public land is rough but you will learn.

I just started hunting 8 yrs ago. A friend of mine told me so I wouldn't get discouraged that is was like hiking or camping with a purpose. And as many a hunter can tell you it can be discouraging.
