Undercover wildlife investigators have arrested dozens of people in northeast Florida and charged them with poaching and selling wildlife illegally.
More than 56 individuals were charged with 36 felonies and 280 misdemeanors from a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission investigation that finished Wednesday.
The individuals are accused of buying and selling prohibited deer, turtles and fish. The arrests were made in Alachua, Marion, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
I saw the details on this. Pretty interesting. Poaching makes it hard on all of us who try and show hunting / fishing is a sustainable activity. These folks give all of us a bad reputation.
did not see that article. good job on catching those SOBs
Amen.... I can't stand poachers. They should be more heavily penalized for the crimes they blatantly committ.
I take offence when these scumbags are included into the hunter catagory, there are poachers .Wildlife thieves not hunters. Hunters abide by the rules they are just white trash...............low lifes.
