Had a friend who was working at Dic k's sporting goods for a while. A guy walked in the store one night 10 min before closing with a rifle on his shoulder
After they got security to take care of that, he wanted to get his rifle bore sighted. He was loaded on his way to Ga hunting and had not sighted in rifle
He felt just getting it bore sighted was enough. He was literally gonna be hunting the next morning. My buddy refused to do it. Said he would not be held responsible for a wounded deer
i'm almost a fanatic when it comes to making sure my guns are on. just before every trip to ga. i shoot and verify my zero. don't want to drive all that way and have a gun that is off.
Remind your clients that hunting is a lot more than killing.I'm so sick of people just obsessed to kill something I want to puke. There's so much more to enjoy than putting an animal on your tailgate. You put them on the game, you should get paid. Think about those guides babysitting clients out in the mountains out west for weeks at a time.Complaining, unprepared, and out of shape, then blameing the guide for not getting a trophy.
i have yet to get a gun boresighted and be close enough to hunt with, the last time i had one boresighted, it was SEVERAL inches hight and to the left. i couldn't believe how off it was and how glad i was that i made sure before i went out into the woods that i was on target. i too get uneasy when i hear people talk about going hunting when they havent even put a few rounds before season starts to make sure everything is good.
My buddy refused to do it. Said he would not be held responsible for a wounded deer
Thats what im talkin about
I wouldnt have done it either that is pathetic
