Tell them there's a $100 surcharge for missing a clear shot! Or put up a "Wall of Shame" with pictures of them empty-handed. I know it ain't good PR, but it's fun to think about! 😀

the problem i have is my work ethic i guess. it would be easy for me to say" oh well, you missed-- where is my money??" I enjoy seeing people harvest, especially people that never hunted, and kids. And in actuallity the first timers and the kids are the ones that hardly ever miss. It's all the boys "I've been hunting for years, but never shot me a hog" . I know it's not me or my job to pull the trigger. I guess I'm more amazed that people have money to throw away right now. If I was going to put meat in the freezer, i darn sure would know that my rifle was on.

i would almost rather they do miss, than to take a bad shot. have had that happen. more than once. Then who you think is crawling around in the thick stuff trying to blood trail a pissed off hog. but, hey, part of the job.

I am actually amazed at the amount of people who do not spend any range time with the guns they hunt with. I know with me personally, if I miss I cannot blame the gun, it is me.

Unfortunatley we cannot require an IQ check before issuing hunting licenses
