feeder down and fresh corn spread out til the feeder gets put back up.
ouch, sux about the feeder. I wired the tripod legs to pieces of pipe/re-bar driven into the ground, to keep hogs from knocking it over but it's not bear proof if that's what you got. at least something bigger than coons/squirrels are hitting it. I got another hog hunter on the private property I've been trying for a year now, with 3 feeders and 2 cams and a stand and they are definitely there just not eating corn or are staying away from feeders. saw fresh scat/rooting/wallows/prints on tue. I went in alone yesterday after hearing them into a flooded swampy/thick brushy area cuz the wind was just right (rare) and got close enough to hear them but was walking the whole time in water to the top of my knee boots and eventually got so far in I had to decide to call it quits. it was just a matter of time before I slipped and ruined cell phone and would not have been able to drag one out alone ( even if much closer to car). some smart hogs there, must be feeder educated or have plenty of other stuff they like to eat better.
No sign of bear just hog prints I think PCB has put the feeder back up but not sure of any supports.Oh heck there were rootings along the plot too looked dang good.Smart hogs everywhere, lol!
