i have a small piece of land i think 4 acres in the city limits is it legal to hunt there does anyone know

Depends upon the city, but most cities, towns and villages have a no discharge of firearms laws. You need to check with your city.

In city with a firearm is a no but I believe a bow is fair game.

My friend had a hog in his yard and since you can't disharge a firearm in city limits, his son got up in a tree and noosed. So you could try that way if you don't have a bow, might be fun.
