on most state lands is bow or gun the norm. im new to hunting hogs :proud
Whatever is in season is the norm.
I prefer bow hunting. More challenging and more thrill. Especially when you line up that tip of your sight to where you wanna send your arrow :archer :rockon
thanks for the replys. i guess im looking to do a little crossbow hunting most state land areas have no hunting with a firearm, is a crossbow the same as a reg bow and is it allowed ?
cross bows are not allowed on most wmas.
to sum it up archery on wma bow is allowed- crossbow by handicap permit only
During Black powder - only black powder
Gun depends is it listed as modern gun or general gun.
Modern is a cartridge style bullet- no bow, bp ,spears, cross bows.
general gun is weapon of choice.
I like all the seasons but as i get older i like the 06 better --head shot.
