Bear.. OR.. Hog?

SO that pic i blew up is a hog.. look at the nose and the eyes, and the mouth, and the bend in the arm. If its a hog i guess my feeder is a mystery then.

Thats the question.. What the heck happened to my feeder motor?

I played around with the pics in my photo editing program and they are all hog. Very grainy at best, but all hog

heres how my setup looks.. i feel like something got up there and stood on the main bean and messes with it..

If a big fat coon could have got to the motor, and it was a big fat one, it could have broken that plastic motor easily if it was hanging off of it

temps near freezing and plastic don't mix. that damage looks like damage just from the fall. a feeder with 20 - 30 lbs of corn in it hits pretty hard. And some types of plastic do get brittle with cold temperatures. what did the rope look like? kinda frayed? your rope probably sun rotted.
