They have tried to rock it but no problem yet and I have a big boar and sow and 2 cubs, they have all stood up to it. I am not a welder so the wood is easier to work with. wish me luck!

I gotta give credit where credit is due. that's a mighty fine looking feeder set up. I was thinking of something very similar but a lot of work and $ to put someplace I may not be hunting for long. only thing I might do different is use a steel 50 gal drum,( one fill should last quite a while, but need to heat the bottom and pound into a cone/funnel shape to help corn flow) with a water tight removeable top and steel pipe instead of 4x4 and grease the pipe. also like the idea of the "spicy" chicken, but would hate to run across that bear with the red azz,cuz he surely would be in a nasty mood.
