Alright well classes here at FIT are starting to get to me, and I don't know of anything better at clearing the mind then watching the sun rise over a perfect hunting spot 😉 So needless to say I am busting out the bow and going to go check out St. Johns WMA this weekend. Anyone else going to try their luck soon?
headed up to the lease tomorrow. by the way the weather looks, gonna spend alot of time near the bottoms. lot of acorns on the ground. all hardwood bottoms.
there were acorns EVERYWHERE in south carolina. deer werent spending much time in the food plots, they would stop and check out the corn from time to time, but they seemed to be eating well off the acorns still. i want to go this weekend bad, but im on call and it aint gonna happen.
gonna see how well they like crocks big acorns (pecan). have abunch of them on the ground also. found about 6 pecan trees last time up. didn't even know they were there. bunch of oaks in there with the pecan trees. a stand is getting put there on friday. :gangsta
hopefully you guys put them down. its gonna be fun.
