Just wanted to let everyone know that the 1st Draw results got posted this morning.
I got my first choice, which was the general rifle season for the Perdido River WMA. Season starts 1/23 and runs unti 1/31. This is the same tag I drew last year and it paid off with 3 deer. Looking forward to it. I've also arranged to hunt the muzzleloader season in Nov on a piece of private land in Okaloosa County and the guy that owns the land is letting me fill one of his doe tags for the property in Dec. So, I get to hunt deer in all 3 months and we haven't even got to the second draw yet. :clap: Still waiting to hear about the Sambar hunt on St Vincent's. That one is still pending.
The best part about drawing Perdidio River is that the entrance to the place is exactly 2.3 miles from my driveway. Nothing like getting to hunt right in the neighborhood. :thumbs up: Hope the rest of you pull your tags.
