Public meetings to discuss deer hunting regulations

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plans to host public meetings around the state to discuss deer hunting regulations. Nine of the 14 meetings will focus on possible changes for Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) to align area hunting seasons with recent changes to deer hunting zones and seasons. The other five meetings will be about implementing a deer harvesting reporting system in Florida. All meetings will be 6:00 p. m. – 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, except the Milton and Panama City meetings will be 6:00 p. m. – 8:00 p.m. Central Time.
