i was wondering what everyone thinks about the new permit system.does anyone like the new non transferable permits? i hunt alot on public land and dont think i like it.i drew areas i dont hunt or unable to hunt and cant give them to someone who can.i spoke with ed white at fwc and he said it will stay this way for at least 2 more years even though they have noticed a drop in revenue doesnt make much sense to me!!!! what do you think??

you said you drew one for someplace you dont even hunt? why put in for it then? all that does is burn a chance for someone else. me personally i'm ok with it this will stop the guys abusing the permit draws and hogin all the hard to get low numder draws. me and a buddy both drew a area we have been tryin for for 3 years straight. so its ok in my opinion.
I'm with you Horsefly. I'm not glad that we can't give them away but I am glad it stopped the permit horders and brokers.
i personally know a guy that was puttin in under 5 names every year and allways for the same hunt and its a 1 buck hunt there was several years where he had two permits for the hunt., and there was only 30 per a hunt for bow,muzz,and gun, all only the 9 days too. then the place shuts down for big game. but we also got the buddy permits this year.
