I am looking at some land, and it has 5 acres, is that big enough to legal hunt on ? I cant find the reg in the book that says how much land a private citizen needs to be able to hunt on???
more likely you might find something on how far from a public road or residence you need to be to discharge a firearm....dont think there's a minimum size limit on land.....

That is correct. You do need to check city discharge ordinances,nieghbors,roads etc. But there are no laws regarding how much land you need to hunt on.
also depends on how close and what kind of neighbors. that seems a little close for rifles, and even if bowhunting you wouldn't want a wounded animal making it to a neighbors yard with your arrow sticking out of it.

That's real close for any kind of high powered rifle.......maybe a shotgun or bow...but like you say...really depends on neighbors.....they might not mind at all if they hunt....if not....could be a big problem when bambi falls over in front of the kids with a bloody broadhead poking out...
