will end up calling FWC next week to make sure, but wanted to ask here. in case anyone knows. Fixin to be added to the deprivation permit on my new property. (able to shoot hogs and such at night with a spotlight)... Is it legal to do so with a suppressed weapon? have my suppressor for the AR in the works.

it's gonna take a lot of paperwork and $ to be allowed to own a suppressor in FL but it can be done, using it may be another story more dependant on local approval I believe. I've got a bunch of buds up in CT that use suppressors and it's legal there. not sure how much paperwork they had to do. on Long Island a lot of the farmers pay pro hunters who shoot at night with suppressors because they lose up to 1/3 of their crops to deer.

actually nacho, quite easy to get a suppressor in Fl. Using papers of incorporation.---- $250 tax stamp and the price of the suppressor. that is it. no fuss, no muss. must be on officer of the company to possess . Setting up a trust is another way to get them quite easily.

I suppose so if going thru a bussiness or agricultural way yes. I know for a regular Joe it's federal and that means paperwork out the butt, license fees and the cost of a supressor aint cheap either. and don't be tempted to shoot any Bambi's now. although you may be able to get a permit to cull some of them also if growing crops on the land. you just keep stepping in one sweet deal after another you lucky sob.
