i cant even remember how i signed up when i did it. i think i just called the fwc and set it up. i had to drive to polk city to take it cause all the ones around manatee and sarasota were full. it was given next to a correctional facility.

I brought my son to the Hernando sportmans club in Chasowhitzca.It was a 2 8 hr day course. I like the class room atmosphere,more hands on and q&a.

They offer the hands-on part at Gander Mountain in Lake Mary, so I'll just have to call up there and find out if the website I found for my nephew is ok.

You can register online. Look for the next available course in your county and you register for it. If you have the time i would recommend the traditional course

Click on the "link to register" in blue, select your region, look for your county, select your prefer date and fill the form out. Then print the confirmation and you are done.
