I just went to check on leftover quota permits and tried to get a Bull Creek Archery and a Bull Creek muzzleloader....well I was successful for both, but at the checkout portion they wanted me to submit my credit card info for a $2.31 convenience fee. This is for a FREE quota hunt permit!!! :censored:

Has anyone heard of this before?????

I have never heard of that before. I got some quota permits this year and they were all FREE no fees at all. Did you get them in the first phase?

It's because you applied on line. They charge you that for anything you do on line, fishing licenses, management stamp, exct :thumbs down: .

I applied for a three lakes permit on during the third phase (online) and there was no charge...I just don't get it!!!

During the third phase, I did find out that the phone number on the back of your license is not to the FWC, it is some private company located in Tennessee that handles licensing for 12 states. So, if I were to pay that $2.31, where would my money go?? Probably not to anything in the state of Florida!!!!

I will be contacting FWC tomorrow to learn more about this...It probably won't get me anywhere, but I just want to know!!
