Ok the new rules for getting a camp site at a WMA , it will be a random draw,, you get 5 selections, but if you are drawn and the 5 you have selected have already been selected by someone drawn before you then you get to select a site that is left over in phase 2, now for the part that really sucks , if there is no more sites left over in phase 2 then you are out of luck... The one good rule they have put in this year is that you must have purchased a WMA Permit to be concidered to get a camp site, this is the first year that has happened, previous years the tree huggers were getting all the camp sites so hunters wouldn't be able to get them
It is a shame they had to do this. It was necessary to shut down the only open bars in the county with no last call for alcohol. Not to mention guys setting up a camp, and leaving it for 8 months.
