+1 on the leaf miners, had em on my meyer lemons. tried insecticide and dormant oil, can't realy say it helped too much. what I did use that seemed to work better was a home brew of tobacco juice (chewing tobacco brewed thru an old coffee percolator), dish soap, amonia and mouthwash sprayed from a hose end sprayer 8oz's each, it can be used safely on any plant/animal or furniture and greens things up instantly.the soap helps clean so plants can transpire & photosynthesize better, amonia cleans and fertalizes, mouthwash helps kill diseases and tobacco makes insects puke and crap at the same time if eaten, you can even add some cayene pepper for insects or use some of your hottest peppers to spice it up. it does a good job on mildew also.

Tim,
The black ghoppers you are seeing are lubbers. They are the ones you see in the summer that are bright orange/yellow

First cukes (from containers) are really producing. This is a dwarf variety for container gardening.

Squash and cukes in garden are flowering
