treefarmer, how many people you feeding with that size garden? even keeping things small, just the wife and me usualy have too much. suppose I should use the dehydrator more and learn to jar stuff. another item on the honeydo list.

deutze, Been doing it like this for years. It's just me and mamma since the kids are on their own but they don't mind taking a few jars of canned beans, a bag or two of frozen peas and a few packages of smoked sausage home with them when they come to visit. There are always folks that appreciate a mess of fresh vegetables when we have been blessed with an excess. I thought gardening would get easier when I retired, but it isn't a bit easier. It even seems like the grass grows faster than it did! Treefarmer

Vacuum bag all your veggies and save for the winter. Same with the winter crop. Im still eating collard greens from last winter

Pulled the Zucchini last night cause it is starting to die off will pull the squash this week sometime. What are you guys planting once you pull ur spring garden?

Picked the corn last night. I will be cleaning and freezing it tonight.

My peppers are freaking out...any ideas?

I going to try and replant this weekend!!
