First trip went well.. i launched at ft desoto.. went well. fit perfect in the yak. was comfortable.. Need to adjust the foot rests tho (they gotta do that at bill jacksons cause its a recessed washer in the plastic that has to be moved)

Was out from 1-6 and didnt even realize it was 620 until i pulled up to the sand . I caught a ladyfish, trout, and channel cat. I have yet to see how fun it will be to actually get a nice size red or something on the line..

After that i met up with skunkape and sat at the tap and ate some good food. Good day after all.

I worry more about bull sharks and stepping on a damn stingray than I do about gators. Personally don't find gators to be a threat to me fishing.
I had a bull shark swim up beside my boat while I was in a marina undocking one time. He stuck his head out of the water and his eyeball watched me move from bow to stern. I gained a tremendous amount of respect for them after that incident.
