Thanks Flags,I really want to get back out there again. I'm not that worried about a giant bull, any would do for me,but a trophy muley is on my agenda.I have friends in Colorado, and others that went this season that all scored, but paid for it.How do you get landowner lists? Are they online?

I think they're online. Check out both the Division of Wildlife pages for Wyoming and Montana. You may need to do a little looking, but I think they're posted. I always hunt BLM land myself. Millions of acres of land out west is owned by the public and that's where I hunt. If you look at the photos, all the elk, pronghorns, buffalo, bear, hybrid deer and mountain goat all came off public ground. With the exception of the bear in Canada, all were unguided do it yourself hunts.

When I went to Colorado, we hunted the area you are talking about. we were right outside of Hayden behind the Peabody energy plant. Very healthy elk herd. The rancher we hunted thru has lost all of his property so I would be contact-less If I tried to go back there. I want to get back there bad
