I took my son out this weekend as well.
Out in Osceola there isn't much to hunt lately except bird so this was the prefect weekend.
Can you help me identify this bird? 
There is a spot in the forest where there is literally hundreds every time.
I have been waiting for the youth hunt hoping my son could shoot one.
Not only did he shoot it, but he got it mid-air in dense trees so I am kinda proud.
It couldn't have worked out better cause I had to work this weekend and there was only an one hour opportunity.
Anyway. . Can someone identify?

That's a wood duck hen , only 3 per person on those , this is the Drake

Good to know, and probably good that we only had an hour. Literally there were so many there, if I did not have to work I might have stayed with my son and let him take a few more. Didn't know it was 3 per person, so the time limit kept us in check then 🙂
