What type shotgun are you using foe duck hunting?
Is that Ebonics? Foe soe man 😆
Trust me I've made worse one's than that. 😆
Depending upon where I am hunting I use:
Flooded Timber is the Mossburg 835 ported 24" barrel
Flooded cornfields I break out either the Binelli Super Black Eagle or Stoger with a 26" barrel.
Dry corn fields it is the Binelli in case a few Canada Geese decide to drop into our spread and they meet the 3 1/2" whammy.
duck hunting can be real rough on guns, especialy if hunting in salt water. expect a few dings and scratches, and at some time you will probably drop the gun in mud or water if you fall, you may even end up using it as a paddle,I wouldn't want to abuse a super expensive gun like that. I've mostly used a mossberg mdl 500 with 2 barrels and a selection of choke tubes and a variety of shot from 7 1/2 to 4, you can even go larger for long shots at geese. the key is being versatile to adapt to the particular condition of the days hunt. if wading in flooded timber and shots are coming close, or on a narrow stream over decoys and its heavily wooded, I like a shorter barrel 24" and a wider choke pattern imp or mod and 7 1/2 or 6 shot. for longer shots I want a 28" bbl with full or extra full and 3" # 4's or maybe even 2"s or bb's. a 26" bbl and a 30" is another option. autoloaders are fine but pricey, for what I would pay for a second bbl for my benelli sbe i could get a mossy with the bbl i want.
This is what I want for duck hunting! :clown
But in all seriousness I use my mossberg 500 but I plan on getting a nice semi. Like this Saiga 12 with 20 round drum. :devil2
them Siaga are pretty cool. my buddy with the gunshop has one on display. not priced to bad.
